According to the results of the 2021 Census, almost every fourth occupied house was built or reconstructed in the last 10 years in Středočeský region, which has the highest proportion of occupied houses built or reconstructed after 1991 (42.5%) of all regions. In Zlínský and Moravskoslezský regions, about half of the completed or reconstructed occupied houses for which the period of construction or reconstruction could be determined were built between 1946 and 1990. Relatively the largest amount of occupied houses from the period before 1920 are located in Liberecký region (19.8%) and Ústecký region (19.3%). On the other hand, in Zlínský region only 5.0% of occupied houses with an ascertained period of construction or reconstruction were built or reconstructed in the same period.
